GROAP® for Commercial Eco-Friendly Cleaning

WHAT IS GROAP®?

GROAP® is an eco-friendly degreaser that creates a chemical reaction when its strong alkalinity and proprietary formula combines with vegetable oil or animal fat. This chemical reaction is the creation of liquid soap. Ordinary water is used as a vehicle for the GROAP® proprietary formula to form this reaction.

People have been converting animal fats, oil and grease into soap for thousands of years. Our amazing new product takes this principle to a new level with the formation of this incredible biodegradable green formula.

Vegetable oils and animal fats (FOG) from restaurants are fatty esters in the form of triglycerides and are perfect saponifiable materials that are converted into soap when introduced with GROAP®. Our proprietary formula breaks the ester bond and releases the fatty acid and glycerol. Once this reaction happens it is an organic, biodegradable soap forever and can never be converted back into grease. The environmental advantages and applications are many and GROAP® is proud to be the frontier leader in this old but very new green application for cleaning restaurant kitchens, vents, drains and grease traps.
